Disc golf, anyone?
This fantastic sport is one of the fastest growing in the country, and South Lake Tahoe is lucky enough to have two courses within five miles of Basecamp. The first of which is Bijou Park. The Bijou Park course offers 27 holes which are lined by 100ft pine trees, which lead to spectacular meadow and mountain views with very slight elevation change. Three pin placements per hole make for a new challenge each time you play. The second course is located at Zephyr Cove Park. This 18- hole course is much more challenging due to its steep elevation change. If you can push your way through the first 14 holes, the view from 15 is well worth it. From beginners to experts, South Lake Tahoe’s disc golf courses have something for all skill levels to enjoy.
