Mallory Cave Trail in Boulder has a 0.8 mile path up to Boulder's famous gated bat cave. Closed from April-October for seasonal protection, the moderately-difficult hike has rewarding views. Go to the National Center for Atmospheric Research parking lot for the start of the journey.
