stories from basecamp explorers

“The staff greeted me with warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm, making me feel right at home. Their knowledge of the local area and insider tips helped me uncover hidden gems that I wouldn't have discovered otherwise. It was like having my own personal adventure concierge!"

"Loved the dog friendly hotel with a camp feel. Staff was friendly and it was close to the beach. It was also a plus that there's South of North brewery and a coffee shop on site. Will definitely be back."

Lani F

"The place was super cozy. Super nice and helpful staff. Great location, walking distance from all the shops and restaurants you would want, and nice and close to the lake. The patio was super cozy with a nice fire going. Would def recommend!"

TC

"This place was very cool. I had no issues, but it is a no frills kind of hotel. Nothing super fancy but a perfect place to use as your "Base Camp" while you are going on lake adventures and mountain visits. We visited in the summer so we did not come up for skiing during this trip. They have a brewery attached where they do live music and fun "Camp Vibes." If you are okay with a simple stay with everything you need this is the perfect place and at the price point, it's a great place to stay!"
